Perfect timing, Tom! I am considering having a particular pocket watch converted to a wristwatch and will need lugs added — looks like this gent would be just the guy to do it.

Any experience with him to share? Any ideas on costs?

Thanks!

I've used Wuischpard several times. He does good work, but can be a little slow and pricey.

No idea. Got the link recommending him from a FB watch collector's group.

Not really. I do have a ton of dials if needed, refinished or NOS.

I wish I could take you up on that. Everything I have is pre-1935 Gruen. I've never seen a NOS dial from that era and loose ones in any condition are very few and far between. Somewhere there must be a high end dial restorer. I'd happily be sending them to Switzerland and paying and arm and a leg if I could find anybody who did really good work.

I wish I could help, but I have used L&S in Los Angeles and they can't do white and I have used Kirk Rich and they are expensive. As far as L&S, not sure what dies they have.
