I figured that of the five watches, it was almost all about the Hamilton Flight II?

A few years ago, you could get deals at Goodwill, a combination of low traffic and Goodwill not always knowing what they have. They still don’t always know what they have, but there are enough searchers that a lot less sneaks under the radar. (Arguably, that Flight II should have sold for less, without pics of the movement even).

Sometimes, I do a search for “watch” and over a thousand auctions queue up. Then I sort from highest price to lowest. The highest price auctions are what you would expect- solid gold cases, or vintage Swiss sports watches- but occasionally there’ll be a diver from some obscure maker or a lot of seemingly average watches that has been bid up higher than expected. That’s where I have fun figuring out the “why”.

If I was the buyer, I'd tell them to keep the others. Maybe save a buck on postage by leaving out 50 cents worth of watches.
Real men wear small watches.

Lots of folks who have been kicked off eBay fighting amongst themselves. ;)
