Gruen BMW

#1 Post by statsman » Wed Apr 13, 2022 12:56 pm

What do you make of this? A vintage Gruen, with a (sort of) BMW logo? It’s on auction from a Goodwill in Arizona.

A dealer’s watch? A motorcycle club?

The logo font isn’t quite right and the quarter circles aren’t crisp. What do you think it is?

The bmw logo doesn't look great. The GRUEN and sub seconds looks good to me. I would have to see the back for an engraving.

I would have to agree that the BMW logo looks too sloppy to have been factory work.
Real men wear small watches.
