Longines Doctors Watch

#1 Post by mrcardigan » Thu Dec 30, 2021 7:53 am

So, I haven't posted anything on VintageWatchForums for a while (as have been busy building a house, so watches have had to take a back seat for a year or two), but had to post my new acquisition (Xmas present to myself lol) that has just arrived today.

It's a rather beautiful 1930s 18k Longines doctors watch that I won on the swamp this week with the stunning 9.32 movement.

It's my first ever Longines, as I'm normally an Illinois and Hamilton man. I'm really pleased as have wanted a duo dial doctors watch for ages and can't afford a Rolex Prince, so this seemed the next best option.

Anyway, the dial is a bit beyond saving, so I will be having that redone, but in the meantime I'm enjoying it. A real longshot, but if anyone has a better condition spare original dial then please let me know

Andy
