As of today, crickets. No response. I am guessing they really don't have a written policy and it's a case-by-case situation.

I have a feeling this was made when Hamilton was going out of business in the USA. I found one close from 1966-68, but it's not exact. I'm guessing it was made either at same time and not in a catalog or made after.

That is one heavy watch.

They made a ton of ladies models. Do you know if the back is stamped Hamilton?
