Always thought these were called Engineered For Action line of watches for all of them, never knew they had actual names.

Re: You will like these

I actually own a few of these dials, NOS but the watches were never produced. Check out the Pocket Watch, Rene will love that one.

I have seen one of these at NAWCC museum, I attached a color photo of it when I was there.

You will like these

I am working on a project with the NAWCC, these images are from several boxes full of Hamilton factory negatives/glass slides. At some point the NAWCC will post them all on their web site. I was given permission to start sharing some before they are all done. I am guessing we are a few weeks away. I...

Re: Mars Space Clock

Oh wow, made the lucite's. Those are fantastic. I have only seen the ones at the NAWCC and one in a private collection.

Here is a drawing I have in my file, I am guessing it was a drawing of the proposed dial, but wasn't used.

Mars Space Clock

I bought a bunch of original photos and paperwork on the Hamilton Mars Space Clock by Dr. I.M. Levitt. Here are three photos I found in the file of Ralph Mentzer working on the project. I'm guessing he wanted photos of himself smoking a pipe, cigar or none at all. Pretty funny stuff. What is cool is...

What happens when you drop your vintage watch

This is what happens when you drop your vintage watch. It bends or breaks the balance staff or Jewel.

Re: K-475 Original Strap

Jim was convinced it was the bracelet, but I disagreed with him.

This was part of the debate. If we had the spec sheet for it, it would help solve some of the issues. The band is only shown in that ad and I believe Rene said the drawing wat from an annual report?

Re: How I identify watch models in minutes.

I sent this to Rene. I called him and let's go on ebay and identify a round watch. Within one minute we found the model. It's super cool system. I am still working on women's models to separate them all. When you see in my system "2-4-6-8-10" that would indicate the numerals on the dial are at 2-4-6...

How I identify watch models in minutes.

This is how I identify watch models in minutes. Let's take a watch and how I identify it. Say you send me a men's round watch, with a sweep second hand and it has makers only. This is my system below. I have every Hamilton cataloged (and some not in catalogs but identified) and put them all in folde...

Re: K-475 Original Strap

Yup, ole Jim was on the side of the clasp band was the only band for a K-475. Not sure we ever figured it out before his passing. But if you look in the 1906-1961 catalogs, which I told him, the bands styled with the K-475 ad I showed him were offered on other watches. He was a firm believer in the ...

Re: K-475 Original Strap

Just fantastic Randy

I collect ads and an inventory of them. It helps me when people ask about bands. I’m guessing I have some 500 plus Hamilton ads, brochures and other watch advertising merchandising.
