More Hamilton "Stuff"

#1 Post by retroworx » Wed Aug 01, 2018 5:49 am

Recently added these 2 rockin' Mid-Century items to my Hamilton display.

(I have dubbed the clock, "Darth Vader." :D )

Love the additions to your collection. Sure was great seeing you in York....who else would go around with one watch on her left wrist and two on her right. So glad I was curious about that. :D

You mean the "I Brake for Hamilton Watches" T-shirt didn't give me away?

Those watches on my wrist were ones I picked up at the show — I soon ran out of wrist. ;)

Great to meet you both!

Thanks, Mark, I agree.

It's a Hamilton timepiece that runs on a battery — would it surprise you to know it is not working?

Just slap a quartz movement in there and be done with it.

Hello Susan,

congrat’s for the „stuff“. While „Darth Vader“ is cool, the watch display is just awesome! It really makes me envy.

Do you have a photo of your “shrine” with all you Hamilton “devotional objects”?

The only Hamilton “stuff” I own worth mentioning is a dealer’s sign.

I liked to own 10% of the goodies you have…

Regards

Martin

I love that era of Hamilton promotions, particularly that typeface: Just screams 1950s style. So when I saw it in 3 dimensions, instead of the usual catalog and print advertising, I went after it hard. ;)

I haven't taken a shot of it in a few years now, I really should get an updated one. . . .

That's a nicely carved sign you have there, Martin, how big is it?
