Happy New Year!

#1 Post by Magpie » Sun Jan 01, 2017 7:54 am

From Illinois Land, best wishes to all for a great year!

(And let's hope that 2017 will see the release of Fred Friedberg's long-awaited new book . . .)

God, Please let this book come out soon...
My hands are numb from sitting on them, awaiting the book.

The anticipation is great advertising.
I own over 300 watches and only one Illinois.
It's not even an impressive one but now I want this book....

Only ONE Illinois!!! :o :D :o

I used to have a bunch of watches other than Illinois, but have sold just about
every one of them to feed the Illinois addiction... I have lost count on the total at
this point... it is very hard to stop at just one.
For the Serious to the novice Illinois collector, this book is going to be like finding the Holy Grail.
Fred has literally dedicated several years of his life and countless trips to libraries, and archives...
flying across the country many times to make it all happen.
Fred was blessed with so many folks assisting with hunting down new information. The scope of this
project is kind of mind boggling, to say the least, and the end result is very much anticipated.
He promises it will be like nothing else ever done on this magical brand.
