What is the year engraved on the back? It's hard to read even at great magnification on my computer. If it is after 1977, we don't have the catalogs. Also, since it is a Masterpiece example, it would not be in the catalogs that we have anyway. Either way, this will be a difficult identification.

Can anyone help me identify this one? The band is a cheap replacement.

Thank you, Dave! I combed through the pages of examples, but I guess that by page 19, I want quite so diligent. I'm replacing the cheap band that is on it. Does it have any value?

The dial appears to be very clean, the next question is the condition of the case with brassing? The photos don't show enough detail.

I would guess cleaned up it could range from $75 to $175 dollars. You do need two bidders to get the price to move, or someone that has desire. :D

I suspect early to mid-seventies but we are missing most of the women's catalogs for that era.

Hello! This is a 1950s era Hamilton 14K gold watch that has been passed down through a few generations in my family. It is engraved on the back as an humanitarian award given on December 20, 1959. I recall it originally had a flexband when my father wore it and not the current alligator band. As you can see, the face has a couple of scratches although it looks much nicer than the photo indicates. Inside, the movement serial number is 735. I would love to find out about the watch and when it was manufactured. I have looked through forums and web sites but I have not found this model. Coincidentally, I went to college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania right down the street from the Hamilton Watch Company. I clearly recall the red brick building.

Thank you.
