The Ball is still my go-to watch on weekends which probably makes it my most worn watch at this point. The value of tritium lume can't be understated when going out at night. I've had zero issues with it, quality wise. Winding, setting and date changes feel good. Power reserve seems to build quickly and hold for a long time. My opinion overall is that it is extremely useful, well built, comfortable, reliable and a solid value if you are in the market for it's special features.
I should clarify one point from earlier in the thread (after reading it again). That wasn't my first concert. It was this Ball's first concert and it's been to literally dozens of shows since, everything from heavy metal, grunge, thrash punk, prog rock, jazz, singer/songwriter etc. I go to one or two live shows by local bands nearly every week and this Ball has become my constant companion. We have a great local music scene here and I'm taking full advantage while I'm still reasonably young (meaning still ambulatory).
I can only assume it's accurate because I only wear it a couple days per week then put it away for five days. Nothing in my life relies on split second timing anyway so "vintage watch timing" is perfectly suitable for me.
I should update the photo. I put it on a Martu vintage style strap that I like a whole lot better.
