It's fine Susan, I gave up after a half an hour and then took it to a small watch repair shop, and that guy ultimately gave up as well, I thought, well maybe it's like she said, and I'll just get the strap off of it. But I must confess it was fun watching them struggle. The funny thing is that some Fossils are easy as pie and others you want to start cussing!

I wonder why Fossil never tried to make a Ventura re-issue, I would be on board u know?

Susan, I don't care what they say, I like Fossil. I also wonder why no books have been written on its history, not enough time has passed since its inception? I think it would make a great collectors book.

One of 3000 really? Too bad we can't get them all together and rent a steamroller!

I guess I dont blame the guy who is selling it, but my question is: who MADE that? And speaking of a steamroller, Mr. Arbib is ROLLING over in his grave about now don't you think?

Retro, I am really loving that Flintstone and Dr. Suess Fossil in your junk/sell pile! May just be the pediatrician in me, but would love to talk to you if you really want to sell those!

My Fossil I purchased at Dillard's Dept. Store in 1995. Still has the original strap. This is the tin that it was displayed in the case in, and although they told me I could pick out any, I chose the one it was displayed in. It was far nicer than any of the others they had.
