Do they really keep on ticking?

This is an extreme example of a daily wearer that has lived up to the Timex slogan. Just have a look at how worn the crown and the area around it is.

And of course be sure to change the oil every 3000 miles right?

well in this case the cleaning of the movement porved out why someone had filled it with oil.... a broken mainspring.

To the parts pile we go!

and with the bones of one a new old is ready once a case becomes available.
