Help,Benrus bb4 interchangeably, dial feet etc...

#1 Post by Foggy8988 » Thu Nov 08, 2018 2:33 am

I cant believe this! I had an old knotted lugged gf benrus w a bb4 movement. I sent it off for servicing, got it back all nice and shiny, then went to switch out the strap. When i did so, the damned lug broke off! It’s a gf watch, there is no fixing that. Now I have a freshly overhauled bb4 engine and need a case. Does anyone know what kind of interchangeably there is? I have seen the bb4 also listed as an eta 900. Does anyone know if the dial feet are the same? I’m looking at my options so my money dosent go down the toilet. Thanks in advance!

Foggy, I have a knotted lug ygf E-Lite case with a stainless back that a size 6/0 elgin fits into.
Don't know if your bb4 would fit. I'll take a couple pics and post them soon.

Thanks, Liz, but I was able to find a jeweler who could repair the lug!

That's a blessing!
I have a feeling my case is likely too small for your movement.
I think your bb4 may be the same as the Benrus CE13 movement,
which would make my case too small.
