Killer dial, one of my favorites of any Hamilton model. And I love the crisp engravings on the case, looks like the watch was rarely worn.

Superb. Is that a refinished dial? Inlaid-enamel and refinished, or...?

Very cool.

Would the case on have been enameled when it was new??

Mark had the dial refinished, he might be able to answer these questions better than I.
I have never seen a Rectangular that has had enamel applied to the engraving.
As far as I can tell by looking at the engravings I think it would be next to impossible to apply enamel in any sort of consistent way.
I'd love to hear from anyone who might know more about this.
