Hi all.

Quick question...should I have bought this watch.
I think it's a Ross, yellow gold with coral gold dial and Arabic numerals. I think I read somewhere it's a bit rare to have this colour/dial/numeral combination, but couldn't find it again to confirm I'd read it correctly.

Anyway, as a result, I bottled it at $54, as would also have had $30 shipping costs. I feel maybe I should have put a few more bids in, what do you think?

Coral dial goes with the coral case. This is a franken. I'd like to make a franken with a white case/coral dial.

Thanks Tom. Wasn't sure, thought that might be the case, which is why I held back. Are the coral ones with Arabic numbers worth getting? - or rather, I love the look of the ross, and want to get one, but should I expect to pay a premium for the coral one?

Thanks for the reply,

Andy C

Here is the one that got away for me. I saw this go up when I was a relative Newbie in 2014 (was available for less than 10 minutes, if I recall) and passed on it, thinking the Spanish seller was confused and mistaken and asking wayyyy too much money for a Ventura.

Knowledge is power.

Hopefully Rene or Mark or Bryan will chime in on what this one was really worth. :?

Normally, the coral version is pricier and the wgf version more so. Gilt dial versions are the best, IMO.

Please forgive my beginners lack of knowledge, but by gilt dial do you mean like the three you have pictured above, two tone with romantic numerals?

My 18K rose Ventura sold for just over $16K at the Heritage auction in 2015, with the buyer's premium. That was less than I expected -- several years earlier I had turned down a $20K offer!

Oh, the pain, the pain! Passing the $3000 one still kills me, LOL

I'll be looking to sell mine soon. Thank you for the info.
