Dear Ebay Sellers:

Do not list that a watch is "running great" if you have not replaced the battery in years and it has not been tested.

Dear Ebay Sellers:

Do not list a watch as "running" because you shook it for a moment and the second hand moved.

Please also do not list a watch as "running" if it does not keep time.

My biggest gripe is eBay's Global Shipping Program. They charge a percentage of the final price as an "import charge". The only problem is that the vast majority of watches delivered by USPS are not assessed any import fees at the border. It is a huge cash grab by eBay, often reaching into the hundreds of dollars. I have stopped looking at auctions that use the Global Shipping Program since I refuse to pay eBay such huge fees for essentially no reason whatsoever.

Also, since the fee is a percentage, I won't know until the auction ends how much will be needlessly tacked onto my total. I have to severely limit my maximum bid to account for these fees and not be way overspending on the item. In this case, it's unlikely that I will ever win an auction with my artificially limited bids anyway. Even if I were to win, eBay's "import fees" will jack up the total so that I can't get a bargain in any case.

Dear ebay Sellers

Postage is postage is postage. So please don't restrict your sales to USA bidders only.

Dear ebay Sellers

When listing a Hamilton timepiece please do not waste your time by stating, "Marked Hamilton five times".

Noone cares.

No way to track International orders via USPS. In order to have tracking UPS or FedEx has to be used and can cost $100+

The USPS needs to get better International tracking! They are way behind on the technology.
