this brings up an interesting "thing"

if Wadsworth owned the patent for the case in 1938 and Elgin brought Wadsworth in 1950, then technically Elgin owned the case patents (14 years at the time from 1938 to 1952) for Hamilton watch cases.

Yes, you can run but you can't hide from Elgin, guess we could say another great design by Elgin National Watch Company.....

Someone has to make up for lost time with ENWCo, You Hamilton guys have a lot of knowledge, every month we re-discover something lost.

got to take the cheap shots where I can, not sure when I'll get the next one.

These letters are really interesting, they are showing a side of the watch companies that I suspected went on but hasn't been exposed yet. Like buying others products and working out whats new.
