I don't like to use the word rare but it may be fitting for this Elgin masterpiece.
Lord Elgin Ivanhoe in solid 14kt yellow gold. Case weighs in at 14.5 grams.
As far a style goes this one even gives the chairman a run for coolness points.
I'm happy to own it!

Great Lord Elgin Ivanhoe. It must not have been worn much. With that case design it would have shown some
dings, etc. if it had!

It is surprising not dinged. The spots on it are water from the snow blowing around.
I can't stop looking at it.

Outstanding Military Chrono, Susan
I've read where that was for the RAF, was it made for the US military as well?

Intra-Matic Pole Star for Tuesday
signed strap / buckle
Believe this was a European export but not sure

Thanks! My understanding is Royal Navy, Royal Airforce, and Royal Australian Navy — no U.S., strangely. . . .

Nice Watches People! :)

For me today the 1959 Thin-o-matic T-501 with an NOS Flex-Let bracelet.

I had the bracelet and it was too short originally. I ordered one on e-Bay and it had a place to put sections in. WOOHOO not normal! I had never seen one with the ability to add units.

I recapped about six from another Flex-let bracelet and I have a watch I can wear, "which really is the goal, right?"

Sweet. :D
Welcome to the club. One of my favorite chronos and technically an asymmetric.
Here's a good website in case you haven't found it yet.

Wearing the 1953 Lord Elgin Cranbrook. I put it on a flat Ostrich leg strap. If you haven't tried Ostrich leg, it is really a nice looking leather, minus those Ostrich skin bumps I just don't like. And imo, it is hardier than gator or croc.

I think Genejockey has noted that it has a certain heft to it when wearing it.
