question for you. I see that you favor that 70sish, ovoid bezel.

Is it a chosen path? What calls you to them? I like the shape, and the dials always seem to be unique.

Probably favor that vintage (and the late 60s) due to the size and "funky" factor

First noticed watches when I was young - liked the look of my grandfather's Accutron (which was octagon shape with red dial)
Like any hobby, I bought one or two and then found the forum with all of it's catalog information....the habit grew from there

I appreciate the older watches too (20s-40s), usually find the size too small for my wrist

Todd

Nice watch Todd!

For me I have on the 1962 Sea Rover II, issued for 5 years, with a great little shark band.

Thanks, I purchased it with the idea I could cobble from the bracelet and use it with the parts I had, NO LUCK! The bracelet was junk.

Was I surprised when I pulled the crystal to find a perfect dial and hands. I had a NOS case so I dropped it in. It is a common watch, however I like it!

I'm not sure I want to sell the other one then hands are pretty unique, not on a lot of Hamilton's!

Awesome Hamilton Electric, Timex and Hamilton again.

Tonight, an early 50s Lord Elgin with bowtie dial and some sweet lugs.

I wore my Longines Hydroconquest today. I find myself in a weird place lately. I've really been into my modern pieces for that last little while and while I've had no budget for my vintage collection, I just made a deal for a brand new 116610LV. Does this make me a bad person? :o
