You could go with Timexeses, just to be safe.
Real men wear small watches.

Something new for me! Following Dan's blog I learned there was only two square automatics the K-405 and this 1959 Thin-o-matic T-401. Perfect Dial!
This is case is so much larger than the K-405, the lugs are actually a full 3/4". The Crystal is coming, the boys at Pabst, thought their body should have a watch!
Love it!

Pat, your post earlier today made me dig out the K-405.
Your T-401 is really sharp. But as an award watch; I wonder if Harold got stuck man! LOL JUST KIDDING, great piece.

I just missed on of those over on eBay. I'm not a Hamilton guy but squares get me every time. Something about them I just love.

Thanks Mark, just had a thought? Maybe Harold was replaced by Laverne and Shirley in the bottle capping division of Pabst!

Today an Elgin sportsman.
Now many of you know many of the watches from the sportsman line are base metal and not up to par quality wise with some of elgins other offerings.
This one happens to have a fully stainless case and a beautiful black dial. fitted to a duchess stainless band and it's one of my go to watches. It's got style, it's pretty big ,and I'm not going to hurt it.
Don't overlook the sportsman line. There are some winners out there.

I really hate base metal watches. Always pitted. Just assumed the Sportsman line to be al BM. Learn something new.

Really nice Hammies and Elgin's so far.

Tonight this big Elgin Surf with the 645 auto, 17 jewels.
