I've been wanting a Gruen Pan American for some time now and have this 32mm steel-cased Ace coming from Bryan.

Here's a new addition to the photo library, a 1965 Dateline A-676, runs a 694 with 17mm lugs.

Dan that Dateline is certainly a nice one boss. I also noticed you mentioned my town in your blog. That was a nice touch. Thanks.

Thanks... I'm sure I missed a few as I don't have everyone in my address book. It's the thought that counts though.

Here is a correct photo for the library.

1962 Sea Rover II, it was issued through 1967 and the catalog shows these hands, it was news to me. I have attached the 1962 catalog page 25 image, as a reference and finally a photo of the incorrect hands to follow it up.

All 5 years they show these hands in the catalog. I actually like the looks of the "wrong" ones that were not in the catalog? ;)

"Mr. Rodgers" hopes to take the show on the road Sunday night and get a "W"!

Nice work, Pat. I like this one. It looks good with either set of hands.

Not so fast. I've had several of these with those hands. Here's one I still have.

"I Do Also!" I had never noticed they catalog being the other way. I'm not getting rid of the others, cool hands!

Agreed. I think it's safe to say that both styles of hands were offered.

I think there are several models from the mid to late 60's that show up with the same sets of hands different from the catalog that they must have come that way from the factory.

Did that sentence make any sense to anybody but me?

I would agree! I find it ironic, the hands shown in the catalog appear to be not as common and hard to find on the watch.

I'll add my Sea Rover II to the mix.

BTW, does anyone have an appropriate crown for the Sea Rover II they'd like to sell?
