To Squash 61:
My black dial Bulova came in, and I now realize it is different than yours. If anyone knows our models please help. I couldn't figure it out.

Mine is from 1964, and came with a junky Spiedel band. I put on this nice leather strap, and wore it today.

Seiko 5 I picked for $42 on Cyber Monday. I also have one in green and use them for work watches. They truly take beating and live to tell about it. Plus it is only 37mm, so it almost seems like wearing a vintage watch.

Some super nice watches recently, for sure.

Here's a recent save, an Automatic K-453.

It's definite. I have to get a copper dial. That's stunning!

Wow, what a slew of Hamiltons!

1954 Elgin Edgewater. 17 jewel's, adjusted. Interesting held in place by screws caseback.

The edgewater is an underrated watch in my opinion. The screw on case back and the movement holder makes it interesting in my opinion. Plus it is a good looking watch.
You have a really nice example there.

Grumpy it's funny how things in this world work. I wore my oxford for the last 3 days.
Wonder how many other people in the world were wearing one. We should pick a common Elgin and all wear it the same day. Like a clubman or Wakefield, something many of us have.
