Looks really nice. My dad gave me his some time ago since he didn't wear it any more and I need to find a bracelet for it now.

I say this all the time, but these Hamilton Electrics are at the zenith of American design.

As part of the black dial Elgin theme, this Niagara from the mid 50s. One of my favorite Elgin's even though it was on the low end.

Hope everyone's recuperated from the holiday weekend

Great examples so far this week

This is a different variation on the "Naval" watch posted last week - this one's dial is a little more interesting
aftermarket strap with signed buckle

Here's my contribution to the black dial theme week. My PAM isn't an Elgin or vintage, but my "Say Hay Kid" strap sure is ;)

I assume so, at earliest I'd say late 60s - but looks 70s to me

OK - I have to ask...do they make the band from an glove or just made to look that way

regardless - that really looks cool (the Panerai ain't bad either 8-) )

Thank you!
Yes, that strap was crafted out of an early '70s MacGregor autographed baseball glove. A friend of mine is a leather artisan and knew I was a Mays fan so he surprised me with it for my BD. He custom made it just for my 111. Soft as a baby's bottom it is. It's the most comfortable wearing strap I own.
