Nice start to the watch week, Mark! You have quite a varied collection, it seems, and always something interesting to show us. (I was particularly fond of the Lord Elgin 218 from last week.)

You weren't the only one sporting an ostrich band today. I have one on one of my very favorite watches, an Illinois "Biltmore":

I love the parchment-like patina on its dial.

For Sunday, I followed Magpie in selecting a long rectangle, a Hamilton Andrews:

(I like the Andrews because it was named for my favorite paleontologist and, of course, because the movement was made by Illinois.)

I'm starting off the week with this 1966 Hamilton Dateline T-278.

** The 14k yellow gold Star case contains a grade 619 micro rotor automatic movement.

I outfitted the piece with a NOS 11/16" Kreisler genuine alligator strap.

Thank you Bettie, I always like both yours and James' choice of watches. Especially the Illinois.
Like the Dunkirk a lot Adam.

Nice Langley Adam, hands remind me of my Gladstone. Strap is a perfect compliment to the watch, real good.
Today, black dog, black watch- a 70's Seiko like a TV set in its shape. :D

Beautiful watches!
Today I am working on the house so I wore what I consider a beater.
Modern Bulova chrongraph. Except for the crystal it's in great shape.
I had no luck locating a new crystal for it.
