Today I went full blown retro-techno-geek. I dug this out of an old drawer yesterday and had completely forgotten that I still had it! I recall buying it in 1974 for about half the cost of the new Pulsar Time Computer, which is what I really wanted, but could not afford. I remember that their popularity (My God! A wrist watch with no moving parts!) lasted about as long as the disco craze. A little cleaning and some new batteries and she lit up just like new, which really surprised me. Back in the day, I thought I was one impressively cool dude when I wore this, along with bell bottoms and a silk shirt. Bust out those Bee Gees 8 tracks!

For Sunday, I had wore the new addition, 53' Tildon cld, 14 KT. with an aftermarket Flex-Let bracelet.

My Holy Grail! Many Thanks to Dan for making me aware of it. It was one of the more expensive watches in Hamilton's line up for 1953.

The same price as the 18 Kt Gordon and the 18 KT Hartman $225.00 The Cambridge would have still be more.

It came through Heritage in Dallas everyone was wonderful to work with.

My itchy fingers came VERY close to bidding on that watch; happy you got it, Pat.

Today I wore the 1955 Hamilton K-506 / 661 movement, Queens case with the original issue Kreisler bracelet in a "long!"

The hunt to complete this watch has been enjoyable. It is a beefier watch than it's counterparts.

Needs a good cleaning and tender loving care from Dan. It has taken a few different K-506's to get this one complete. The dial came out of a K-503 case?

Don't forget to vote if you have not!
