Cool Hammy there, NWI Mark!

Today an Elgin "Louiseboulanger," one of Elgin's Parisienne line, went to church with me:

This was the little watch's first outing. I'd had it a long time but hadn't been able to find the perfect watchband for it. I finally settled on a ribbon band, which is what this model was issued with. (I'm grateful to diveboy for the ribbon and to mrtoad for the construction!) The clasp is a Hadley:

P.S. Louise Boulanger was one of the top Parisian designers of the period (as were the others enlisted by Elgin for its Parisienne line). Although it may seem weird for the name of this particular watch model to be rendered with her name solid rather than in two elements, both capitalized, that is apparently how she did it.
