Caving in to peer group pressure today; trying to avoid a monstrosity but sticking to modern....

As it's my 33 year wedding anniversary today something special was appropriate so I opted for the utterly beautiful but poorly named Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster (I mean, who comes up with this cr@p and, more importantly, who approves it?) Self winding ETA 2836-2 movement, 38 hour power reserve, COSC certified chronometer.

Its tritium tube based party piece is only revealed when the lights are out. Really bright permanent glow that doesn't need energising like traditional lume. I've used it many times as a bedside travel clock when on the road:

Thanks! Just wish my pic did justice to the blued steel hands.

Mutual admiration for your Odyssee/bracelet combo. I think a Gen I or II Odyssee is a must have for any Hamilton collector.

Man can't live on watches alone! So I made some dinner -

Eggplant - Onions - Peppers - Zucchini
Mozzarella with cherry tomatoes
Watermelon

Grilled lemon & herbs chicken served with Whole Wheat couscous

hope you're hungry.....

Great watch Stales. Sometimes you have to have Ball!? (S)- I’ve been wearing my Martin for a couple of days.
