Beautiful watch, Grumpy! I love how the dial echoes the concentric circles of the bezel.

That’s a nice Elgin 209 James. I like the numerals. Today I wore a Gruen Veri-Thin. It’s hard to get a good shot of it due to the faceted crystal reflection.

A new arrival last week, a 1926 Precision. Some TLC this morning and it's a runner!

After getting it going I only took it off to try on this one after getting it running too,

I had cause to take my Skip Jack out of my repair box for a photo today. When I pushed in the crown, it started running and has been running accurately since.

For Sunday I wore the RR Special #51 with "the Kreisler bracelet," as shown in the 68 catalog. I have always understood the Kreisler bracelet to be associated with only the RR Special #50. I have overlooked the 68' catalog image shown with the Kreisler and not the two-tone Gemex, we have come to assimilate as the correct band. Now the dedication is from 63' and it came with the Gemex bracelet, so be it!

I am a sucker for meaningful dedications, The back reads;"ERNEST L. MARTIN FROM THE BOYS IN THE MACHINE SHOP 6-5-1963" his piers honored him!

At the end of the day and it was slow by 2 seconds after 10 hours. :) They can finicky, however in the right environment they can be very accurate.
