For Palm Sunday, an Illinois Southampton:

The Fahys case on this generic case is marked "6/0 E-I", indicating it could be used with either Elgin or Illinois movements. Although I have a good refinished dial for this watch that looks almost new, I prefer this original Illinois dial, which wears its years well.

Love that Southampton!

I came across a few Dorothy Thorpe Roly-Poly yesterday, (For medicinal purposes.) so I'm kicking back with the Ace tonight.

Nice Waterbury Morris! Did you ever hear this story about the early Waterbury dollar watches? They took 10 minutes to wind! The saying went...” here, wind my watch for a while!” Today, my DeWitt.

no never heard it. but it sounds like it fits the long wind series.
