Stan, saw this on A Blog to Watch. Is Waltham now a Swiss company? A Swiss owned brand? Or are they just sourcing Swiss movements? The article really didn't go into that detail.

Lord Elgin Ascot.

Found a new bezel-the old one had the gold filling worn through in several spots and the correct dial-the first one I had was refinished. The brushing on the dial changes color as you view it from different angles.

original bracelet
don't wear this much, very comfortable on the wrist

I think Hamilton just put out a modern version of this watch if I'm not mistaken.

Early 50s Elgin Seaman. It was a low end Elgin with some great styling on the lugs and bezel.

Classic lines on that seaman Grumpy. Wore my 1901 pocket watch. I've got time to read these days, had a heart attack Friday Morning.
