HELPING HOROLOGY, HELPING THE MUSEUM

#1 Post by GLADIATOR » Thu Mar 12, 2015 1:08 pm

As you know, I have been sponsored in 2012/2013 and 2014 by Gallet as a guest curator for wristwatches at the NAWCC Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Gallet, a SWISS company have been immensely supportive of the NAWCC, both in direct help and in sponsoring a guest curator (me).

This year, I go under my own steam, to help in what is probably the last 100% museum dedicated to Horology, it gets no help from government and depends on members, donations and volunteers.

This year, Gallet will launch an outstanding chronograph, with the proceeds going to the Museum, it is hoped that the sale of this Gallet Truman Edition will raise $1 million for the museum.

I am not asking people here to commit to buying one of these pieces, but by pledging on one of the many other offerings, Gallet will donate that amount to the Museum.

Just Pledging $25 gets you a GALLET cap and the Museum $25
Just Pledging $75 gets you 1 year membership to the Museum, with many benefits, especially the NAWCC BULLETIN that is published six times/year.
And its contents move more and more to wristwatches.
There are a number of pledges and of course the Gallet Truman Chronograph!

Please take a look at the links, see if you can pledge something - you are not helping Gallet, but you are helping one of the greatest if not best Museum of Horology in the world.

Whatever, worth reading about the Gallet Museum Truman Chronograph

Sincerely
Adam
