crystal replacement/ model identification

#1 Post by charbroiled » Fri Oct 28, 2016 9:36 am

Any help in identifying this model would be greatly appreciated. The second hand is not original. I'm trying to find a crystal to replace the one on it because of a crack. Thanks in advance.

Well looks to me you have what I call mix/match the dial from a 1955 K-506 but the case is from 1955 K-503/K-756 this could of came from the factory if inventory was low or along the way someone did a swap. as for the crystal size that case takes a PHD-231/2 or around 27.4MM I attached pics of both watches

Thanks for the heads up on the Frankenton. It keeps time impeccably. I'll be ordering a new watch crystal a.s.a.p.
