I don't think we'll get more definitive than this, LOL.

I have a few sales sheets from this period — I just realized I really should probably scan them and get them up into our Photo Library.

Anyway, looks like your watch is a "Hi Tech Chronomatic II":

Awesome! Thanks. I new it was a "Chronomatic HTC" but did not know the "HTC? stood for Hi Tech Chronomatic.

My other (recent) favorite Hamilton is this one (ref #A128) other than that I don't know what its name ism, but I love this watch:

I purchased this watch off eBay not knowing if it was real or not but definitely interested to know the model. I found that the case looks a lot like the vintage sea sentinel but the dial definitely looks different. The back of it reads: Golden Electroplated Bezel 686016-4. 17j 688

Looking for some information on this Hamilton watch. It is an automatic. Stem is behind the bezel, on the right (3 o'clock). The stem does not wind, but is only used to adjust time. Winding is done through automatic function. Likely purchased in the late 1940s to 1950s. The watch indicates SWISS movement.

It's the K-407 model. It was in the sales catalogs for 1956 & 57. It also came with a black dial.

Thanks for the k-407 background information. This watch was worn by my father for many years. While cleaning up his house for resale, I came across this watch in a filing box. I had it serviced and crystal replaced and it runs fine.

Not sure what this is. Marked Hamilton Intramatic with Buren markings in 18k.
