I recently learned that for divers and some chronos, the glass thickness is as crucial a number as the width. . . .

I've heard that as well. That's why I was hoping someone had ordered a replacement from one of the major houses and had an ID number they knew was correct. I don't want to buy 10 and hope one fits.....but I might 8-)

With the divers watches, has to be able to take the depth pressure.
