Hamilton 922864

#1 Post by Namespetra » Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:28 am

About three years ago I came across a 14k Hamilton model (case number 911971) that did not appear in the catalogs. I posted information about it here: http://www.vintagewatchforums.com/viewt ... 971#p47549

I recently came across its gold filled counterpart. The dial and hands appear identical but instead of utilizing a 14k B&A case with a grade 688 movement, this model has a 10k rolled gold plate Wallace case with a grade 686 movement. The case number is 922864. Both models have an 11/16” lug width. Their case designs appear to have a similar, simple style.

I’d be interested to hear if anyone has information on these counterpart models. Perhaps this one can be added to our “models by case number” listing with the hopes that someday it will be identified.

I put this in the case number thread for future reference. Curious to see that it is dated 1975. That blows away one of the theories I was working on.
