Totally unworn, as new 1970s Seiko 7005

#1 Post by mrcardigan » Sat Apr 22, 2017 1:26 pm

Hi all.

Thought I'd post this for you to look at. One of my elderly customers brought out her late husbands 'old watch' to show me. Apparently, he never even got it out of its box after it was given to him, just looked at it occasionally!
Any marks you see are just dust. It's perfect in every way!

Nice Seiko but needs to be disassembled and re-oiled because if it's NOS and never worn , the oils are surely dried .

Nice looking design, if you wind up with it and plan on using it a service would be a good idea.
I like it.

Notice the band has been adjusted for wrist size (spring bar is in middle hole on the lock down claps). Also cloudy haze on the case back which may mean it could have been worn. Even if so, it was certainly very little.
I like Seiko and think overall they make a great affordable product.
