Almost a year ago I tried on a few of the new Waltham Watches, the XA, CDI and the ETC.
After thinking about it for awhile I decided to pull the trigger!
A brand new Waltham XA Black Matter is now on my wrist.
I wanted something completely different, something that would define this era for my collection, a larger modern sports watch.
The last two high end watches that I had in my collection were a Rolex Datejust and an Omega Speedmaster.
These watches had metal bracelets and I wanted something this time that was more of a sports watch, I'm done with the metal bracelet watches.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that this Waltham XA Black Matter has a vulcanized VulCarbone rubber strap with deployment buckle.
It literally fits my wrist like a glove, it is extremely comfortable!
The case measures 47mm going across, about 3mm smaller than a G-Shock.
Dubois-Depraz automatic caliber 14060 movement featuring 29 jewels, reference W.DB-001, 28,800bpm, 44 hour power reserve.
Black Titanium case, ceramic bezel, embossed black dial, Super-LumiNova, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screw down crown, waterproof.
I could not be happier with this purchase!
Antonio DiBenedetto the owner of Waltham Watches and his design team knocked this one out of the park in my opinion!
