My wife was going through her jewelry today and came across a ladies Waltham wrist watch that had belonged to my grandmother.

The serial number, 29248868, dates it to 1936 and has a 17 jewel movement. There's no second hand.

The case back is marked:

Waltham CO
14K
Solid Gold

Although the band goes well with the watch, I suspect my grandmother had the original band replaced at some time. There's no markings on it.

I spent some time on the web but I couldn't find one like it nor could I locate a catalog to that time period so i don't have a clue as to the model.

Does anyone have any information about it?
