This is not my first one of these but the first one I have with a gold flashed movement.
I did some digging and Diveboy sent me a link to a thread with some info. http://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?4333 ... ashed-mean

Does anyone have information on it? Any definitive reason why some in the era were flashed?
It is a beautiful movement in my opinion.
Thanks.
