"The Gruen Underwater All-Purpose Watch" Please help w/info

Hey everyone,

I am a buyer and seller of many things.

I attended an auction today and among the many lots I purchased today, there was a watch lot.

One of the watches is this "Gruen Underwater All-Purpose Watch".

I have researched gruen for the last several hours, and now I am taking it to you fine watch loving folks for help.

Gruen produced so many varieties of watches, and I am not able to find this exact one. I have found a few that seem to be close, but not this exact watch.

Any info about this watch would be great. I like to know as much as possible before I sell anything.

GREAT DIVE WATCH...looks to be a Tropic band, that is a 50.00 band. Based on similar watches out there, 400 + is easily the value. Enjoy, great find!

Nice watch!
I think I have the same, but without box and papers. All I can add is that it was manufacured between August 1973 and 1977, most likely in the Biel precision factory in Switzerland. If I would have the time to unpack mine and have a closer look I could probably tell you more, but it is currently out of reach to me.
