Gruen article in NAWCC Bulletin

#1 Post by HamiltonIllinois » Fri Mar 01, 2013 8:46 am

Did everyone see the article in the recent NAWCC Bulletin. If I am not mistaken, Bazzab (Barry) was one of the authors. I got my Bulletin yesterday and unfortunately merely skimmed it last night. I look forward to reading is a bit better this weekend. At first glance it looks like terrific and needed information for the brand! (I look forward to see if there is any mention of the K&O cases.) I was also glad to see Charlie Cleves mentioned as an early Gruen researcher. Well done Barry!

Still waiting to receive mine.
Spain takes a bit longer
But always respect to Barry (Bazzab).

If you don't happen to be a member of the NAWCC (shame on you if you're not ;) ) , you're in luck.

The article is the "Featured article" of the month and it's available to the public in PDF format. It's also in color, the original design for it. It's a gorgeous layout that I really wished they could have done in color in print in The Bulletin (Dianne, the editor, agrees it would have looked a lot better).

Anyone can download a copy from here: ... k-bulletin

Once there click on the title of the article. Here is a portion of the page...

Our sample article this issue (public view) is:

"How about a Date? Breakthrough Research Smooths Rough Road for Gruen Wristwatch Collectors"
