Vintage Gruen Watch Discussion Forum

Let me start off by saying I am a novice, and have only just recently serviced a mechanical watch successfully. My knowledge and abilities are very limited and I have no intension, based on my current level of expertise, plan to service anything other than the most simple basic mechanical movements. That being said, I recently acquired a Gruen Airflight Jump Hour in very nice condition. It seems to keep good time, however, it jumps from being a 12 hour to a 24 hour clock at different times. In other words, it jumps 2 hours early for a day and then it jumps 3 hours early, then 4 hours early and so on. I have no idea of the service history of this watch or the level of skill of the person that may have repaired/serviced the watch. For anyone that is familiar with the Gruen Airflight, do you have any idea what might be happening with the watch? The movement is a N510SS.
