I'm trying to figure out what model watch my granddad had. It was stolen when my parents house was broken into about 10 years ago so im going on memory. I know it was a Bulova gold black face automatic winding watch bought around 1974. It had a gold colored stretchy band and at least a date window. it may have had date and day but im not sure. I remember it looking like the one in the picture I've attached but im absolutely sure it was self winding.

Try searching EBay for Bulova Sea King Automatic?

This one has an m2 date which I believe puts it at 1962.
By 1974 does anyone know if an auto was still Available or were the all accutron by then?
I don't have much information on 1970's watches.
Do you remember if the crown was at 3 or 4? Do you remember if there was a tuning fork symbol on it?

I can tell you it's a Accutron 218 tuning fork watch, other than that I don't know much about those......
