 Post subject: bulova wrist alarm

i received this watch from an uncle.i called bulova all they could tell me is it was made in 1969.I'd like to find out as much info as i can.
on the back in the middle are numbers 96792 and m9.on the edge under the strap is the number 40 and letters sad surrounded by a box

any info would be appreciated

desirable watch, M9 is 1969 - retail usually 120-200

in the second picture under the band are letters engraved on the side of the watch #40 and sad surrounded by a box.any idea what this means??

A little outside my time-of-interest, but I believe that the "40" would indicate the thickness of the plating and "SAD" would be the case manufacturer.

Yes. At a guess I would say that it indicates 40 micron gold plate...

This is my favorite watch bulova 1969. Were is cool model https://www.pinterest.com/pin/560276009873890665/. I think a classic watch - best model on all time.
