 Post subject: 1930 Elgin identification opinion

Ok. Here is what I have.
Grade 489 6/0 17 jewels. Serial number puts it at 1930.
Here is what is in the 1930 catalogue here on the forum.
Are the two in the catoulge the same watch with a different band?
I can't tell a difference.
Obviously the hands are the wrong style and color.
Opinion?
Also anyone have a nicer dial to sell or trade?

Yes, those watches are the same except for the type of band. (Elgin's normal pattern seems to have been to give a different model number when the watchcase was the same but there were small differences such as the watchband, the dial, or the jewel count of the movement.)
