I have this Blue elgin box.
Anyone have any ideas on year or what line it goes to?

Could it be for the Dunbar as the box is a similar shape?

Sorry, replied directly to Carl.

This box suits early 1950s Elgin watches. (like the plamsprings, 17 jewel models not lord Elgin 21 jewels). You also find them with DuraPower banners across the top.

Wouldn't think so. The box that Carl posted is what must be a very dark blue. I suspect that Elgin used the dark blue box for men's models, the pastel blue for women's. (Basically identical design, but perhaps smaller dimensions for the women's?)

No, those blue boxes are for both. That image was just the first one I found with the DuraPower.
