Vintage Buren Art Deco Watch ID :)

#1 Post by iKokomo » Wed Dec 21, 2016 7:16 am

I picked this neat looking vintage (1930s maybe?) Art Deco looking Buren watch at a thrift store for $18USD.
I was wondering if anyone had any information on this neat looking watch? When I tried to pop the back off the watch, the whole watch came out of the crystal and band and being new to watches I am not sure how to see the movement of this watch.

I am not sure if it is possible to ID this without opening it up, but here are some photos! A Date and any information would be amazing!

Yep! It does work great! I have tested it, still keeps time good.

PS. Is this a men's or a women's watch, it is rather large, but has a women's band currently on it, but I think if a larger band is on it, it could be a men's. What was the original gender it was made for?

Thanks!
