I found this at a thrift store and it looked good one the outside, but when I opened it up to change the battery, the movement does not look Movado quality at all. It is a no jeweled movement made in Singapore and the inside of the case back says made in China. I am almost certain it is fake. I just want some of the experts to say it is and how to return it to the thrift store in a convincing way so I get my money back.
“Someday, and that day may never come, I’ll call upon you to do a service for me. But, until that day, accept this justice as a gift”
Fake sadly and I've seen quite a few of these. All with plastic quartz. The giveaway here is the fact that the quality of the metal is lacking in comparison with the real deal.
Just realized this was old. It poped up at the top.
