1960s Longines Cosmo Markings

#1 Post by indigopigments » Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:52 am

Hi All,

Probably a simple question, but one that's not all the easy to google search.

I have a 1960s era Longines Cosmo with the markings 10 K G.F. 1200. I know what the 10K GF refers to, but cannot figure out what 1200 stands for. Can anyone explain?

Thanks!

Hi, the 1200 refers to a longines tool that is used to access the movement. #1200 is a crystal wrench. You can still get the tool on eBay with relative ease.
