Hello,

I have an Omega Constellation watch. I'm a total newb and I have no idea if it's real or fake or how much it may be worth. I'm very curious to find out, hence why I'm here! Hopefully someone will be kind enough to help out an old chunk of coal. I attached a few pictures below.

Thanks in advance!

We would need to see the inside, but based on the photos, the watch looks authentic to me. I'm guessing it is either 14K or 18K.

Great watch and desirable to collectors.

Is there a way to expose the internals and take off that backplate without messening anything up?

Yes. See the square detents in the case back? Those are for using a case opening tool.

Just to clarify a bit.

You should take the watch to a watchmaker. He should have a special wrench that fits the little square notches around the edges of the caseback and will allow him to unscrew the caseback without damaging it.

Perfect! Cheers guys, I'll just take it in somewhere to get that back plate taken off and see how she looks inside and snap a few pictures!

Awesome watch, based on the 18K band, my money says it's 18K. Any takers?
